battery box

I can see the battery behind the hydraulic pump but cannot figure out how to remove it. It shows "bad" on my charger. There is almost no room in this A-frame mounted battery box to even fit your hand. I can't see how to remove whole box for replacement battery. everything looks welded.

Is the battery box secured other than the weight of the batteries? I've noticed my box shifting after some mountain towing.
