    Information please

I thought they went out of business????? Anyways most of the manufacturers use a company called challenger door. I have used them myself and they are very helpful. If you look all around the door there is usually a label. I would call challenger or go on their website. Very nice to work with...

Thank you. So far so good with the frame. I owe the forum an update and will do so shortly. The frame was butt welded on a 45 where it was butted together and then has a diamond shape piece of material welded to the outside covering the seam and I sleeved the inside with another piece of channel...

Hauling 2016 4runner IN my conversion

Couldn't agree more with Hot rod. Still working on mine. It is usable now but still going to be 2 more years before I would consider it to be "complete". Time to build is definitely triple the time and cost is going to be double what I initially thought. A lot of the added time and cost for...

11 Kinro Windows for camper / RV build

I have 11 kinro frameless rv windows. They are new from surplus store. They are leftover from an rv build project. The sizes are below. $50 each, if you buy multiple the price will get better! Most are insulated/ thermo pane windows. To order from kinro they start at $400 a window! They are all...

Would really like to understand a little more about the sway bar you installed. Can you post a few pictures of it please? I have that same feeling on mine and I imagine most do? I was looking at air ride motor coaches and I see they are able to mount their air ride bags outside the frame...

    Exhaust size

Thanks guys... I don't have a pyrometer but makes sense that would be the easiest way to tell if there is a problem or not. I will have to look at getting one hooked up. Thanks!

    Exhaust size

So I am hoping for some feedback on how big peoples exhaust are.... I put a side burner exhaust on my truck. I ended up with about 30 feet of pipe (including the muffler). I went with 5" because that is what the down pipe was. Anyone think that will be too restrictive for the length of pipe...

    Reskin outside of enclosed trailer

I agree with cafspecdel. If the trailer skin is in good shape, a paint job is going to have a lot tougher finish than the hair thin paint hey put on the aluminum. Dollar and sense wise is probably a wash too.

    summer heat

I had the same problem with ours. Went from Wisconsin to Florida last week. It was 2800 miles round trip most of it was 90deg plus. Ran a generator to run the rear AC. The AC struggled to keep up. It was unbearable to not run the camper AC. I have a sleeper on my truck as well and had...

slideout complete for now Wanted to get a couple of pictures of my living room slide in here. It has been a labor of love but should be functional.
