I am considering a purchase of a 45ft HDT motorhome. At a recent rally someone brought up the weight of the HDT as an issue when parking at rv parks (damage of roads ect). I was wondering what experiences you HDT motorhome owners have had at rv parks.

Yes , I've seen the photo's of the balinfamily coach but i don't need a garage and those stairs would be a problem sense I'm up six times a night using the little boys room. My thought in putting her office in the sleeper is she can work while i drive and when parked she has her "own" space.

Looking to buy a used truck to have a 45 ft motorhome built to my wifes spec,s. Any opinions on best brand, model and any advice. I am looking at Vovlo but would like someones opinion. It must have a two pedal auto trans.

I am considering purchasing a used truck and having a motorhome built with an overall length of 45 feet. I am concerned about the front axle rating on most used trucks @ 12,000 pounds. I would like some input on whether that is a real issue or could I get by without a higher axle rating.

I am thinking about 45ft coaches. I like Powerhouse Coaches with the tow bar option. I am also interested in a garage model to carry a small car with a bedroom above. My wife and I are retiring and looking to travel the country. The used coach idea is a good one and I am looking. Thanks, John
