    There are four ratios, including overdrive. Overdrive is just another ratio, except it is less than 1:1. There is also a locking torque converter, and when it locks it feels like a shift, so you may feel four shifts. And yes, I used to post at TheDieselStop.

    Four speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. The five speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive didn't come out until 2003, and only with the 6.0L engine. It was never mated to the 7.3L engine.

    Or that they have length limit laws over there that requires COEs for the trucks to make economic sense. Driver comfort rates WAY below making a profit. And that makes sense. Who wants to be in the trucking business to move things for less than it costs to operate the truck?

    You can't always rely on spell checks. Unite is a word, but it is pronounced you-night. Spell check correctly allowed it through because spell check doesn't check to see if the word makes sense, only if it is spelled correctly.

    There are companies that perform the testing using their truck. When I got my CDL last year I went to a company that trains drivers for CDLs. I practiced on their truck and took the driving test with the same truck. Mark
