    Windows

That leads me to another question... do the windows come with a sturdy enough frame or do you need to frame in the windows like on a house? This thing especially is flexible enough as it is, I don't need to go adding more flexibility into it! Maybe I should just avoid anything wider than the...

    Windows

I need to throw some windows in my 48' trailer... currently sleeping in the gooseneck until I can afford to tackle a toter project or buy one cheap. In Texas a lot of months one can get by without AC and a noisy generator if there's some airflow... so I'd like to put a sliding window or two on...

    wadesgames ford super duty

Under bed (or in this case, under box) truck tool box from Tractor Supply. Unless you're a real good and quick fabricator, then just build your own. Plus it gets that crapton (ha!) of weight lower in the truck. Generator next to 'em if you go that route, water tank(s) on the opposite side... but...

    TEXAS Rv

Have you got room for a 36 or 48" sleeper? Sometimes they can be found cheap, and then you've got an easier time of registering it as an RV. My pickup is a commercial vehicle, but at least that's just according to my insurance lady... the state hasn't figured that trick out yet. But it's just a...

New Here - Need help with Volvo Conversion

OK, I don't know the full story on this, but a buddy just picked up a Volvo HDT TC, and just saw an update on his facebook with this picture: He had a Miata in an enclosed trailer, I just asked him for spec's on the hitch, will probably take a while to hear back as his other update is that...

    Anyone who owns a Freight-Shaker....

On the subject of gear shift noise, I quieted down my 7.3L Ford quite a bit with 2 or 3 layers of Reflectix (available at Home Depot/Lowes and others I'm sure) under the boot and the "carpet" -- incredible noise difference! As a matter of fact I noticed on the first drive after replacing the...

    Looking for clearance lights

If you're still shopping, look online for trailer lights. $10 sounds a little pricey to me, I've found the round lights with the grommet for $5-7 in local parts stores. Granted that doesn't have your flange, but they're LED which generally seems to be at least 2-3x the price for the same size...

    Freightliner FL60,70,80 -- owner reviews?

I'm looking at getting a plain boxtruck or cab and chassis FL Freightliner for commercial car hauling and for dragging the racecar trailer across the country. I'm curious if anybody can give some insight into these trucks... it looks like around here most in my price range (CHEAP) are 6 speeds...
