    TOTAL ECLIPSE AUG 21, 2017 AT FONTANA DAM TVA, N. CAROLINA

    We camped at FONTANA VILLAGE RESORT's campground just north of the resort and below the huge Fontana dam. Our journey here required is to drive "over the top" on highway 441 thru the GSMP. This drive was safer than attempting driving down the "DRAGON TAIL" highway 129 with a 27 foot TT.
