Here's where I am with it. Little more trim to put up, some stain on the lattice...and the porch is complete! Then I can get busy on the rest of the deck rail.
Of course...our sign will have a 'tropical / Jimmy Buffett theme to it. I plan on making a nice post for this sign. This is the artists rendering. The sign was custom made at www.cedarsign.com.
Building a new screen porch on our deck at the seasonal lot. The porch is about 12' x 8-1/2'.
The deck now runs the entire length of the 40' trailer. It will take me another couple trips to finish the job.
Bad storm dropped small Oak tree on trailer damaging mostly roof vents.
Went to dealer to get new vents...saw Salem PT on lot and asked for a peak.
Dragged wife up to look at Salem trailer explaining our trailer was the smallest at the seasonal resort.
Trailer traded, and new one delivered...
I added some puck lights for accent lighting over the bay windows. They are hidden above the curtain, and they have a 3 postion dimmer touch switch. Great lights for ambiance...and they look great from outside at night.
We had a ground level deck, so we are raising it up to the level of the Salem. We enlarged it (32' x 8.5'), built 2 stairways, latticed the bottom. Now we are going to enlarge it again, and build a screenhouse on the rear. It will be railed in and stained when complete.
It's digital, and programmable. It has a touch-screen where you can use your finger or the stylus.
Smaller swing in temp with this than the factory model. It works very well.
