    wheelbase requirement

    i would pay good attention to figuring your wheel base most trucks are 12k max on the front axle my truck is fine until i fill the 2 tanks(270 gal = 2000lbs) then it's around 13k. there is a lot of planning generatorlocation and water tank location are 2 heavy items if your talking 30' overall...

    i bought a 95 fld and stretched it and added a 28 box with all the motorhome goodies. had to have it inspected, show pictures inside and out and also show all reciepts for all major items (not that they probally cared if you stole anything or not) but if you didn't pay tax on any of the items...

    Crossing the line: When do you need a CDL?

    i don't know if you need a cdl or not but my pa license says i'm class C which is any single or combo < 26,001 you need a class A for greater than that i would imagine. I'm sure my small motorhome and 32 tag trailer is more than that. also the not for hire on your rig will only get you passed...
