    All electric or gas/electric

Thanks Bob, that's an interesting idea. I wonder how much power is needed to charge a Volt battery. Where do you pull up to fill your propane tanks? Can you fill at the local hardware store, RV dealer?

    All electric or gas/electric

Thanks for all the great info, I have more to think about then I thought. I was leaning toward hydronic for heat and hot water and large solar/battery for the rest. I thought a couple of well place Yeti coolers could take the place of the fridge for a few days dry camping to eliminate propane...

    All electric or gas/electric

Thanks TG, so you run your gen about 4 times in a 24 hour period? Or when it cools at night you can go longer without the gen running? I assume you run your AC at that time too.

    All electric or gas/electric

I am going to visit NRC and Showhauler in mid July and I want all my likes and wants down so I can use my time there wisey. Looking to find out how effective an all electric coach is while boondocking. I have read many articles on this subject but I haven't gotten a clear answer. I know a clear...

    Slide outs

Thanks for the info Bushpilot and 38, it looks like a two slide may be the way to go. Maybe when I visit the builders this summer they'll have a few to climb around in to see the difference.

Thanks 38, are your two slides sufficient or would you prefer more? I know everyone has different needs but I just appreciate all points of view.

Hi TCer"s I was out exploring the HDT idea for awhile but the wife and I are back to the TC camp. Can you give me some insight on the depth of the slide and functionality of the coach when closed up? Example, are two 24" opposing slides functional when closed or is it too cramped? VS two...

    toad brakes?!

Hi Guys, its Speeno the newbie. Its obvious that a trailer would solve all these issues, so why is a toad so much more desirable? This is for my benefit not argueing against toads.

Thanks for the feedback, on some semi trailers there is an air switch to lock the dolly of the pup trailer. I thought maybe toad technology might have borrowed from that. As far as parks go, I was considering tree branches more then room to maneuver. Good to know though.

Cool toad too, I heard you can't back up with a toad. Is that true? Or has technology improved on the tow bar?

Hi 38, thanks for the welcome. Nice truck, I like T800's a lot, they are the preferred log truck in the U.P. Freightliner and Volvo do work better with coach builders, the F.E.T. tax is avoided and they give full warranty on the truck. Kenworth is stickier on both issues.
