Coach In The Making II - Skinned

I tried too, many different ways, but got absolutely nowhere. I guess some folks gauge their exclusivity by the degree of difficulty required to contact them. Oh well....

Distort, nothing, they don't want'em falling through! I'm surprised they allow even one guy up there. Their insurance must be murder....

Waddayamean, running around? This kid is doing a SERIOUS job of demo'ing the rig! I guess they grow up a little quicker in Arizona....

    What do you call it

Mase, after seeing pics of your rig, I must agree with you. I think it would be on many folks' "A" list of nice rigs. Enjoy your travels afar! Gary

    What do you call it

I think we gotta come up with our own designation for truck conversions..... how 'bout "Super C" ? Kinda has a nice ring to it......

    Larry, why not a COE?

Hey Larry- I was hoping I didn't offend you with what I said. It seems I did not. Ain't normally my style. Yeah, I can agree it probably costs a few bucks extra, but if you have a KW already, or got a really good deal on one, ya do what ya gotta do, right? We all get a little(?!?!?!) brain fade...

Coach In The Making II - Accessories!

Hey Bill, when you put those exhaust tips on the truck, turn them so the slashed edge is PARALLEL to the side of the truck. The way you did the last one looks a bit awkward with that sharp tip sticking out the side of the truck. Just doesn't look as smooth. Smooth is cool, and Cool is the Rule...

    Larry, why not a COE?

Actually you can. Folks around here do it all the time. The girdle, or cradle, you speak of is actually two of them, one on each axle. The only thing is that you have to use the rearmost axle position as the locating arms trail on that one(they "reach" back to the axle), as opposed to "reaching"...

1998 Kingsley, International chassis, Cummins motor, on ebay.

Hey- it's a Kingsley. That tells you this: Stick-and-staple RV coach on a used truck(HOW used?) No slide-outs? WHO CARES? They only make it harder to move around while retracted(like when you're driving), and just add something else to go wrong, and boy do they! Just a few thoughts..... Gary

Man, you're really testing my Cumminsology! Ok, the ISC is the next block size down from the ISM series, and is only put in some of the heavier medium trucks(Class 6-7), no Class 8's. It is not obsolete, but has been around about 18-20 years, and is fairly common mostly in medium Freightliners...

The ISX Cummins is the 14-liter Cummins engine, while the ISM is the 11-liter smaller block Cummins. There was an L-10(liter) engine about 10 years ago but was replaced by the M11, which in turn was replaced by the ISM. If absolute max power(500+HP) is needed, use the ISX, otherwise find an M11...
