I believe zinc chromate is still available. Just check with your local auto or commercial paint supplier. Like Rod says the stuff is great for inhibiting rust. We used it extensively in ship repair as well as auto body.

Re: Frame paint How about either good old Rustoleum paint, which seems to hold up real well when the surface has been prepped right. Another idea is the brush-on or spray-on bedliner material. That stuff is indestructable and should last forever if applied properly.

Aluminum Roof When a roof cover is made with aluminum sheet, is it made from one continuous length of sheet so there are no seams? How is it secured (i.e. adhesive, screws)?

You should have plenty of interior headroom even after building the drop ceiling to hide all the utilities. $4500 is a great price, especially finding exactly the type unit you want. What condition was it in (i.e. did it need tires, brake/axle rebuild, body condition, etc)?
