Yep in hindsight I would have done that as well. I did use form solid shims in places all around. The windows seem to clamp in pretty well, but I will be doing the same as you, with an 1/8" shim. They are glued in place very well at this point too :) Should have the last window in today.

Its 5/16 material. Its very light weight. I can pick up the whole stack of wood to do the whole ceiling. ~70lbs for all of it at most.

Dropping the tank to add a pickup sounds like a pain in the ass too.... Im still on the fence. I could sneak a tank in the back storage room, or under the floor line behind the body skirting. I need ~2 gallons ideally. Something like this perhaps, 2.5 gallons, wall mounted, only 4.75" wide

Installer claims ~7, online reading says 6.6-6.5 is more likely. At 6.6, I have R 11.55 in the walls, and about 21.45 in the ceiling. Ceiling varies a bit more than walls, its anywhere from, 2.75-3.5" depending on how they sprayed.

No, I paid a pro this time. I have used the DIY kits in the past. They are not as good.... They really need to be heated, the second time we used it we got an old cooler, put both tanks in it and filled it with almost boiling water. This help a ton, but its still a bitch. It doesn't seem to...

ist, done. Way more of a thrash than I was expecting. All the little stuff adds up... All the furring s done, all the wires wrapped, taped, glued in place. All the tools that were in the truck are now in a pile.... in the garage.... I need to do some cleaning!! A 4800W heater heats this...

Long list before insulation.... Got a little more done last night. Reinforced the large window. It was a little floppy, and I didn't wan the spray foam to hold it crooked. Used a piece of oak there.

Sort of, the rear bench was a 60/40, I will use the 40 part of the passenger side. Ill make a flat floor panel on the drivers side. I need to figure out some sort of jump seat or drivers side rear option, usually its just three of us, but sometimes we take a friend. There is no mounting...

Almost done! Cutting the last bit of the cab and box. done, that was a *****! Whatever aluminum they used for the floor is HARD Starting on the gasket!!

Cut.... Hole.... Door! Got the window infill panels done. Used the cutout from the box! Has a rib on either piece, makes a nice stiff panel.

I know, but even $50 is nice. I was sooo close! Oh well. I made good progress today even wasting a couple hours carefully taking the glass out
