Yes and yes. I did speak with an RV owner who had a blow out hit his tank. He said it didn't do a thing to it. The ASME tanks are much thicker than standard style tanks. But, I will be adding a shield of some sort and bed lining the tank. Either a piece of aluminum, or maybe a big rig mud flap...

Remember it was tight? Its touching the spring hanger..... A little sawzall action and more better. Hopefully that not enough to cause structural issues in the hanger. Tucked up nicely, you cant even see it if your not looking. It will get a healthy coat of bed liner next.

Propane tank is in! My god that was not fun, its tight, like really really tight, cant lift the tank up, it has to be tilted and wiggled into place.... Apologize in advance for crappy pics, its tight. :D The front side of the tank got through bolted through the floor, its under the fridge...

bends didn't come out in plane very well. Oh well, I just bolted it on as we are trying to get out of town and those same bolts hold the bumper on! May have to add some tabs to support the lights, we will see Yep those are toast. Collapsed easily by hand and didn't rebound at all...

Tacked up in the driveway. Welded up. Im going to have a long date with the grinder. I left the mounting tabs a little big as the bar was kinda sloppy in my 'jig'

Welding day yesterday. Made brackets to hold the kerosene tank for the heater. Blue was the first can on the spray paint shelf.... You wont see it. Then started on the light bar. Then got distracted for a couple hours.... It got dark. Turns out you can fit a headlamp over a welding hood :D

I used a Uni Grip product, One of these, Accordion Seals | Uni-Grip Inc., has room for movement between the box and the cab, and was pretty easy to work with.

I have used a combination of things, OSI, Sikalfex, Geocell ProSeal. The Polyu caulks, the sika and OSI, seem to bond pretty damn well. I fell they are very similar. 3M 5200 will stick things together, permanently, but it doesn't like UV much.

My lighting showed up, they don't match... oh well. Mount is taller, covers are different, colors don't match. So I started on a light bar. Bend attempt #1, fail. Attempt #2, works. Floor jack, two pieces of 2x material, one big *** trailer hitch. Kinked the tube a little but it worked and...

Another weekend in the books. Just a campground this weekend. Spent some time on Sat getting the poop tank done. Made a custom "long elbow" for the vent. Runs up the back corner and out the wall. Added a cleanout for easy tank rinsing.
