So my thought is that rather than build a box from steel tube (like showhauler) it would be much easier and probably save a lot of time to use a dry van box (like a 26ft'er). Is there any problems with going this route? I can't think of any. Morgan Van body makes a nice box with FRP smooth...

Has anybody tried to build a slide out? This is my biggest concern about a DIY motorhome. I really want one, but I think it may prove to be too much for me (not really sure why). I am interested to hear if others have tried it. Mike
