    2002 Kingsley 45' found on busforsale.com

having a kingsley myown self i'd guess that this one has the flush floor and that when the slide was opened it wasn't opened the last 2"-4" which leaves it in that position just before the inner lip drops down fulsh with the main floor.------- mase

    Peterbilt 387 Motorhome

spooner, ours is 39'- 6" oal. are you going to add skip shifting or have it blocked? i'm crazy 'bout mine. the handling is going to be very good, IMHO, mine drives great and is not awful in town. the tandem would have added 50 to 60 inches of space in the wheel wells wouldn't it? yours is...

    Peterbilt 387 Motorhome

spooner, thats real similar in a lot of ways to my kingsley. the c15 with the autoshift is the same as mine, what rear gear will it have? ours is a 3.08 and it's killer, IMHO, our mileage on the trip this past summer was around 9.00 mpg. can't wait to see how it goes. ---- mase

    new stuff

bill, i've been wondering about a new heading/topic for the forum. it could have questions about what do people recommend, like you recommend magic metal polish. it could also be where we ask folks what does the forum recommed for a particular task--- tire monitors, for example, or which wash...

    Square exhaust

wick, i just looked at the l.s. pic's of your rig---- um--- , a rectangular out let under your bay just in front of the tandem you would have to put a NASCAR, heavens forbid, long length wise-- short height wise out let. you would have to have it custom made, -- isn't everything-- because you...

Truck conversions, ventilation, and generator use questions.

us also, we don't run our ac unless the temp's or humidity are way up there. with our windows and the door open we have a good crossflow. the fantastic fans really do help if you run the fans on exhaust and let the natural thermal flow work. course this only works so well in places like death...

starting a business building truck conversions

bill, you are,IMHO, spot on in this, having designed my own coach, shepherded the plans through kingsley, ordered nearly all of the components, not body parts, been there 24/7 for 7 weeks ---- you are dead right. while it is possible to do individually it does eat up time. geof said hisself that...

    Height/length issues

M2 - is it the truck for you?

wick i only know for sure what i've experienced-- on our trip our mileage has been arond 8.75 to 9.20. the coach weighs 32,000 but we're only pulling 2600#. the extra h.p. is not such such a bad deal. it does give more preformance when needed. both up and down. service is the main reason we...

Kenworth T2000 Questions and some available.

blue skies john-- dropping a rear is ok if there is enough capacity [weight] in the single-i'm at 23,000 rear and per my other post i'd recommend 16,000 front and 26,000 rears. tandems add stability [anti-roll] to the coach but they also eat up 50 h.p. and lose about 72" in basement storage--...
