just in case my posts read brash, I have nothing against white. I was just curious why the two similar vehicles are treated different. actually if my truck had started out white, I probably wouldn't have had to paint it.

I haven't had any problems before.... and it was ugly. It was faded red with white rv and basement doors. Its funny to me how most bus conversions are not white, while most truck conversions are white. I wonder why.

Well Grande Rojo is finally sanded. Tomorrow begins the miles of masking. Probably shoot the paint next week. I can't wait. I have done the functional things first, so its about time my truck finally looks good. I'll post pics when its done.

If it is an actual "U-Haul", be careful. U-haul usually wears them out hard before they sell them. So have it gone over with a fine tooth comb.

you're not the only one. I haven't been online. Anyhow, I have had unrealistic fuel guages myself. My last truck told me I had plenty of fuel .... as I ran out. This truck is more like yours. my troubles started when I replaced the fuel tank with an aluminum tank that comes on the newer model of...

I went through the same thing. There are used ones out there. check the salvage yards. I found one for a different truck, cut it to fit, and made new braces and brackets. I am in the process of painting it right now. As soon as I get it finished, I'll post pics.

my main reason for manual steps was cost, and I too do the walk around before leaving. What got me was moving the truck to the back yard. I didn't feel the need to do a Safety check ....... that was stupid. :D I like the cup idea though.

I would like to have (mayge need to have) some automatic steps like that.

I bought the quad step for my truck. actually I've bought them twice ...... I forgot to fold them up before pulling through the back yard gate..... :)

I have a mini split in my truck and it works better than the central air in my home.
