    Expandable truck

We have been using the Incinolet for a while and I would suggest looking into it for a toilet in a slide. the only problem would still be a sink.

    bus bay hinges

My new generator box is kind of tight to the body. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get bus cargo bay style hinges. The kind that pull out a few inches and then go straight up.

    Generator install

Today we ran the generator and reved the main engine to see if there was any fuel starving. It did fine. looks like I lucked out.

    Generator install

I have aluminum tank and came up with another option from Parker hose and fitting. They had a fitting that had a larger inside diameter that then "t"ed off into two outputs with appropriate sizing for each fuel feed. I know this is not the prefered method, but I took a chance that it would work...

    Generator install

old thread. I know..... The only ports on the tank are: vent and sending unit on top, send and return on the back, drain on the bottom. What options/ideas does anyone have? I'm actually in the midst of this install. (the main engine is connected to it already)

Some things that really bug me on conversions

I am trying to come up with a concept for Rojo. Gray would look good, but I'm afraid of looking like OSU Buckeyes tailgater. My wife wants me to paint it like a 63 vette (red and white). I also thought about black and came up with the same issues you posted.

Cab and Sleeper on Air Ride

Uni-Grip makes all kind of accordian seals. They are very helpful. I bought my boot and door seals from them.

Some things that really bug me on conversions

The following is not said in a defensive posture. Opinions are all good. With that being s0aid: 1) I don't like the window at the head of the bed either. Its okay if its a small window up high, for the purpose of a quick look outside the rig. But not my preference. 2) The chrome doesn't bother...

    Generator HELP !!!

That contractor generator may work fine (although loud) while at the track, but mine used to turn off all the time while driving down the road. Somehow the oil sensor was not designed to be bouncing down road, so when the road would get rough, the low oil sensor would think its low on oil and...

    Generator HELP !!!

Check out my FL60. I make a box for the generator and air conditioner out of square tubing and a steel floor. aluminum skins and generator doors from Kinro. Then I went to the junk yard and bought three L brackets and mounted thenm to the frame. I don't know how to post pics on a post, so you'll...

I'm Back! Did you miss me?

Warpath, I don't think I ever got to rap with you, but I have followed many of your posts and pics. I was glad to see you active again. I was just waiting for some of the old timers chime in. If it were not for some of your posts and the help of guys like Geofkaye, I would have had much more...

    Incinolet

incinolet.com we use ours while going down the road. Of course you have to have your generator on. takes about an hour to burn it up. If you need to use it before the hour is over....no problem...just restart the timer by pressing the start button. It is about the size of a regular toilet...

    FL60 for personal use

Don't give up on the incinolet yet. Even after the generator burnt through mine, I still love it. It beats black water any day. by the way, the incinolet is easy to repair and the manufacture is easy to work with.

    DIY Straight truck to Tractor?

How about shortening the box to allow room for the 5th wheel while still leaving enough box for a "sleeper condo". My psuedo toy hauler has enough room for toilet, shower, tv, microwave, fridge, couch, bed, etc, in 12 ft. You could have RV status and still use it to pull your trailer. The other...

    FL60 for personal use

Here I am.... I removed leafs from my rear springs too. I made a huge difference. Shocks will not soften the ride, but will help the side to side sway. I have looked into air ride. Hendrickson makes an air ride that I was quoted between 6k and 8k installed. That would make a huge difference...

Absolutely. The sick part is that I sell products like that. I just hadn't had to the time to install them. Well I have a good example to tell my customers why they should install them. I have already been kicking myself over that one.

    Trip from hell

FA, I'm still motoring home. I'll call you when I get home. BTW, The air conditioning compressor came unbolted and lost part of the bracket. I went to home depot and got myself some hillbilly engeneering parts. the air works as long as the rpms arent low. Whoever cursed me with the demon of...

    Trip from hell

It was used, so there was no warranty. Apparently the governor went haywire and ran the rpms way up and down. If I would have noticed it in time I probably could have saved the toilet and the generator. Incenolet overnighted the parts that were toasted to the RV Resort. They are good to work...

    Trip from hell

After spending the last two weeks getting everything perfect on the truck, the demon of mechanical breakdown got to work. The generator started hunting for an idle, so I went outside to check it out. I started sounding like a dirt bike, winding up way too high. So obviously I turned it off...
