    haulmark on ebay

I think that was a very good deal. When you think about what the guys on this site say they have in their conversions and think about the labor, $60,000 is a very good price. What do the rest of you think?

How recent? Couldn't find it in active or completed listing searching "haulmark". Can you paste in the address? If it went in a day, sounds like a good deal.

    resale value

I've never owned one, but I've been shopping for almost a year. Recommend you look at everything that comes and goes in racingjunk.com. Create a spreadsheet, track what they are, size, amenities, hp, miles age, and asking price. I think you'll find out that the prices can be much softer...

    Toyota Uhaul conversion

Is the inside open or closed with some kind of sheeting? If it covered with sheeting, I'd carefully remove it, store it, put your wiring and plumbing and anything else you want in the walls and ceiling, have the insultation sprayed in, and replace the sheeting.

    Stretching frame on a single

haddixj ... lots of bumper pull T/Cs in Racing Junk. I'm bottom fishing for the same thing. I want a bedroom in the back, I don't want to sleep in the bunk over the cab. Its tough to get a 5th wheel/gooseneck toterhome with a bedroom in the back. Wheelbase gets horrendously long. Go to...

    Where to buy a conversion?

I agree with Bob. There is lots of stuff on RacingJunk.com. I don't want to steal a potential customer from Hawk, but its makes sense to see what is out there used beforehand.

    Moisture issues?

I agree 100%. A motor home is no different than a house. Too many people try to address the visible moisture (simple condensation ... warm moist arm condensing on a cooler surface) when they should be trying to figure out where the moisture is coming from and eliminating it. Best way to get...

    New to group

That is an interesting question. I think when the question gets answered, we find out if the box is built on the chassis of the truck, or if the box is built separately and then put on the truck. You might want to try Marion Truck body in Marion, Wisconsin; west of Green Bay and north of...

Quite Possibly the easiest way to remove lug nuts

WOW! Stack up to three! Reminds me of multiple Allison P-51 Mustang engines powering a pulling tractor! At what point does the stud fail and break off? At little pricey ... just under $700. "Use singly or stack up to three X4s. Stacking multiplies, not adds, torque ratios—resulting torque...

    Bluebird made overloaded rv's? Shocking.

Again, I learn so much from this forum. Well worth the time spent on the forum! I like the idea of the strength and power of the T/C, nothing looks better than a Peterbilt 379 or 389. But the room in a 40' Prevost can't be beat.

    Bluebird made overloaded rv's? Shocking.

Bluebird lawsuit I don't understand why companies like Bluebird which had a pretty good reputation would nickel and dime on something as simple at tie-rod ends. How much more per coach would have "the right" tie-rods have been? $100 a coach? $500 a coach? Chump change when you think those...
