be VERY careful of the front axle weight, the door sticker will tell you how much you can put on that axle. that is your number, you cannot exceed it. If you do, you may be lucky and never be scaled nor get in trouble for it. BUT! if you were to blow a front tire and someone gets hurt, all bets...
a real craftsman would have bought a female maniquin leg off ebay, then put a black knot stocking and a bright ass pink 5" pump shoe to keep from scratching the floor. then you'd be styling!

take a box of donuts to the local truck stop, watch for a truck like yours to roll in, offer the guy your donuts in exchange for a tour, or keep your eyes open while driving and pull into a truck dealership or yard with one. most guys would be more than happy to show you.
Bob I see you don't fly a Chevy Bowtie flag to match your trailer. I don't blame ya, I wouln't either.. HA! geez im funny...
hope you are having a great time in Hutch, wish we were there too.

look at the center of the dash, some old trucks you pulled a 1 foot by 1 foot section of the dash, switches and all out by removing 4 screws to reveal as many fuses as you wish to replace.
I just remember that from when I was a kid helping dad, no idea what trucks those were, but it sounds like...
Hot Rod, my 2001 Topkick has like you mentioned resettable breakers lower left of the steering wheel, and a set of relays accessible by pulling the glove box out and then a bank of big breakers under the hood in front of the windshield. Good luck figuring out who controls what though. I'll...

if you cut the back off a school bus, moved it ahead 10' and left a deck out back to stack 4 sleds, you'd have a pretty good sled hauler.. the buses are designed to get kids to school on all kinds of nasty roads. with the sleds hanging behind he rear axle there will be lots of leveraged weight...
very nice, I like that you put a lot of thought into your design, nicely done indeed.
Craftsmenship is a talent I aspire to but sometimes fall short.

yes it is very very easy to overload a u-haul, which is one of the main reasons they sell so cheap, nobody wants them because they spent most of their life overloaded..
Furniture, insulation, interior walls and doors add up. add in water tanks, propane, and a whole long list of things you will...
yes take that to the WY Bighorns and try to get around the snow piles yikes, may have to bring along its own tow truck to get it in and out of the lots. Cool concept, hauling quads would be a great idea..
I'll have to forward this picture to my nephews, they are SnowMobile fanatics! :)

Nick, I spent a bunch of time looking at the Twins design,
My line of thought would be to just skip modding the toter, build a 4 seat Argosy/sleeper unit that would still flip forward for service, and add a neat bed with a built in generator and bonus fresh water tanks.
then spend all the...
look at Schawns Ice cream trucks, most are propane, not sure what the run for engines, if they are diesel, than the 3126 (C7) might be what GM had in most mdt's

I have started the conversation with a number of my state legislature friends, we talked at length of the need for something between a class C (car) license and a Class A CDL.
Something that could cover everything from Rodeo trailers, race car trailers, over 10,000# travel trailers and all...
Your generator may be deisel but I doubt it, there is probably a gasoline tanks close by, the invertor will convert your gennys 112v to 12 volt to charge those batts, then with the genny not running, you may run 112 off the batts as your invertor converts 12v battery power to 112V outlet...
look at smaller camper floorplans, then adapt to work with you truck..

no such thing as shoe string budget in this biz, go to racing junk, find something you can afford and buy it, as its allready 50% off what ever the seller has into it..
I'm sure it will put the kibosh to any legal riding in a trailer if it is even legal in any state. I'm sure this will be a very key accident in the short history of this new industry.
My Rumrunner has a full set of seatbelts, everyone belts up when we roll down the road. I inspected the welds on the sqtube walls and roof, and My cab was weled direcly to the box. everything was built as one, no way for the box to rip away from the frame.
Nothing will bring back these family...
