    Insurance Crooks

Okay, I have insured my Kibbi Renegade through RV Insurance Specialists (International Insurance Group) for over 7 years. For a long time, they farmed it out to American Modern Insurance Co which sold their business to GMAC last year. GMAC carried the account for one year at the same price. This...

High Amperage 12 volt runs ???

So far so good.. I am almost done. I just need to mount the Bogart Systems meter inside and verify the genset pull during start at the meter. I found some great fuses that stem off of the battery lugs or, in my case off of the big boat switch right off the batteries. I now have the main 12v...

High Amperage 12 volt runs ???

The long run to the genset and the 12v panel have me particularly worried. Why would Kibbi not fuse these yet they have a huge fuse on the Inverter lead??? I figure a 100amp fuse is fine for the 12v panel but what size for the Genset? Remember, this is lead serves as both a charge and cranking...

I am about done with upgrading the battery box and battery capacity on my 06 Kibbi Renegade. I went from three, Series 29 wet batteries to three, 4D AGM batteries. HID Conversion Headlights for Freightline Columbia

There are many HID conversion kits for cars available on Ebay. Almost all have hi-lo beam service and many are DOT approved. Has anyone seen a kit for the Freightliner Columbia cabs or, does anyone know what type of Halogen bulb I need to replace. There are many: H1, H3, H4-1, H4-2, H7, H8...

Roadmaster Brakemaster Suplemental Tow'd Braking System - Good or bad?

Yes, definately installing a REMCO unit. The BrakeMaster seems to be KISS and probably the easiest fix unit to transfer. Although it does not have a regulator, I am sure I can add one if need be. It seems that the only adjustment is the start position of the pedal throw.

Roadmaster Brakemaster Suplemental Tow'd Braking System - Good or bad?

We plan on flat towing our Caddy Escalade behind our 06 Kibbi Renegade on Freightliner Columbia Chassis. The Roadmaster BrakeMaster supplemental braking system that uses tractor/chassis service brake air seems to be the way to go. I am going to opt for the system with "in tow'd" emergency...
