    Replacement front tires

The date code on both tires are 2011. I don't understand why one has the cracks and the other does not? Maybe the tire was exposed more to the sun with the previous owner? I don't mind paying for the Michelin, but I would expect it to last longer? I had a dealer who has dealt with truck...

Been reading some good reviews on the toyo M144 tires. I'm going to see what I can get here at my local dealer.

    Replacement front tires

I am leaving for a trip to south Florida on Wednesday, 750 mile trip one way, and I noticed today that my pass front tire has some small dry rot cracking on the sidewall. The tires are Michelin and are about 7 years old, the driver side has no cracking and looks perfect. The pass front has me...

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

I am looking at a 30 foot hydraulic dove gooseneck trailer, the axles are about 4 feet closer to the front of the trailer as compared to a normal 25+5 dovetail trailer. This should put more weight on the trailer axles and the trailer will follow closer. If you compare it to a deckover pintle...

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

No it's not welded, it pins on like the factory hitch, only difference is that it uses both pins! Lol!

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

Here is the trailer loaded with the two atvs and my wife's jeep. The trailer is a 25 foot plus 8 for the gooseneck. It looks small behind the motorhome. I am looking to upgrade to a 30 foot version. I have been thinking of trying a hydraulic dove trailer.

Members On the road, where are you now?

Heading out from nc down to Palatka Florida. Going to spend thanksgiving riding atvs in the swamp at an off road park called hogwaller. We've been the last few years and always have a good time. First time towing with the new motorhome, can't wait to try it out! I'll get some pics tomorrow after...

    Toter purchase advice

I just looked at my converter and it must have been replaced, in the renegade owner manuals it says there is an iota converter. But I actually have a wfco-wf-9855. Does anyone have any experiences with these? Searched internet and it seems like it's just a low cost replacement. I would like to...

12,500w onan generator fuel filter question

Thanks neetchracer, I will give it a try. I took the motorhome to get it serviced by speedco. They did a good job on my last toter, but they were lost it seemed this time. I understand they were just bought out by loves, but I will not go back, I had to look up how to change the air filter on...

    Toter purchase advice

Bush pilot, what did you upgrade to? I'm looking at a magnasine or similar to upgrade to and probably add auto start on the generator. Italgerbrit, I would first start tracking down the wires and only have the truck engine on the 4 batteries. It looks like you have some kind of isolator on the...

    Toter purchase advice

What kind of truck conversion? I know you said it's a freightliner, but where are the house batteries in relation to the truck batteries? My truck batteries are located close to the driver side fuel tank, then there is a battery isolator and the house batteries are to the right of the truck...

Anybody ever put an led light bar in between the tow hooks? Looking to add one for some auxiliary night lighting.

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

Where would you find the towing capacity for my renegade? I've heard 30k and I've heard 40k? I figure with the single rear axle it would be 30k?

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

This is what I take when we go to the big truck mud parks, we go to a lot of the trucks gone wild events. That's more of an adult themed good time, over thanksgiving we take my boys and ride atvs.

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

We're going to Florida for thanksgiving, I will take a couple atvs and my wife's jeep. We are going to a place called hogwaller atv park in Palatka. They have a big mega truck race on Saturday. The rest of the time me and my boys will ride in the swamps and the wife can go shopping in her jeep.

    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

Took it for a 60 mile test drive, empty trailer, was watching how close the trailer was to the back of the motorhome. Never got close to worry about. This trailer is 20+5 with an 8 foot gooseneck hitch. This is like having a 33 foot tag trailer. It followed very close in the turns, I did have to...

12,500w onan generator fuel filter question

My old toter with a 7500 onan had the door, this one does not. According to the manual you are supposed to go through the side access panel. It's about impossible to get a wrench on the lines, maybe it takes a stubby wrench?

12,500w onan generator fuel filter question

How the heck are you supposed to the fuel filter on the 12,500 onan? It's buried just inside the panel. Anyone here have any tips or tricks for changing it?

Hitch picture. The safety chains look tight but they worked perfectly, I think it's funny the left chain is shorter than the right. Must have slipped quality control at big tex! Lol!

I have a couple of friends who built theirs, haven't seen any for sale. Got the shackle holes drilled for the safety chain hooks. Here it is before paint, waiting on it to dry and hope to pit it on tomorrow.
