    Reskin outside of enclosed trailer

if you do a bail out door as bob suggests consider a removable fender (so you can clear the car door) - Look at InTech Trailers and ATC Trailers for some nice design features. IMO even if you get those details off & you polish the trailer you'll always have ghosting. Most trailer places will...

ac not working on the ref.

12v is required to operate the display and fire the burner, and for the interior light bulb. If its running on propane 12vdc is being delivered. It might be worth checking all the GFCI outlets to make sure they're not popped....its a long shot the the fridge 120vac outlet could be on a GFCI...

ac not working on the ref.

any error codes? if not its probably not getting power. is the 120vac power plug "live" (mine is outside under the vent cover iirc). if its running on Propane then the 12vdc supply is probably fine (check that fuse too, but i doubt thats the problem). turn it off & on (again) after waiting 20...

    Converting to residential fridge

i agree those straps are a problem - the acid gas will deteriorate the strap / webbing (too) quickly.

    All electric or gas/electric

the Chevy Volt batteries take 10 hrs (12A) or 16 hrs (8A) to charge on 120vac, or about 4.5 hrs (reportedly) on 220vac (20amps). I refill our propane tank at my local Tractor Supply Store (its the cheapest per gallon price in our area)....i roll up & they pull out the hose, couldn't be more...

    All electric or gas/electric

as for coolers....several years ago i installed a EdgeStar 63 Qt 12vdc/120vac cooler (in the basement on slides)....EdgeStar makes 'em in 44 & 80 quart sized....you don't realize how much space ice occupies in a cooler until you don't need any, the 63 quart will hold 100ish cans (and then some)...

    All electric or gas/electric

personally i like combination electric & gas... if we want to run (3 burner propane) stove we don't need electric, same with the (forced air) heater, water heater & fridge. If we were full time i suppose it would be nice to have a larger fridge (ours is the small single door norcold), ours is...

45 foot T2000 Conversion with Camper

wow looks really nice, I'm sure you're proud! one thing i keep thinking about adding to our coach - is a toe kick/baseboard vacuum... I can't say I'm too keen on the hose for the central vac (storage and general sub-par when it comes to cleaning carpet)....but it would be nice to be able to...

    "fog" lights

Sam - Im very curious about your install and end results. I have a fair amount of experience in retro-fitting HID bulbs (and associated ballast and igniters). Ill be curious to hear what your impressions are about beam pattern and throw when the bulbs are used in factory / OEM reflectors/lens'.

    "fog" lights

Ive thought about adding an LED light bar in the lower portion of my grill, that might be a nice alternative for you bob....or even a 2 smaller light bars so you could aim them independently.

    "fog" lights

Thanks, I look forward to receiving your factory replacement driving lights soon. I just can't see paying 1200 bucks for replacement headlights for an occasional use vehicle. Im sure professional drivers (and maybe full timers) justify the expense much easier. Ive got the rigid's D2's (6 LED...

    "fog" lights

Man those are nice! Maybe i'll add those too. the freaking headlights in the columbia SUCK! Bob - add as set of Rigid Industry driving lamps (like i did)....theyre pricey but throw an AMAZING amount of light.

    Converting to residential fridge

same here, i love our RV (propane / ac volt) fridge... might be a different story if we were full time, but it keeps plenty of food cold for us even on a trip that lasts several weeks. I installed an ARP emergency (over temp) shut off - the ARP measures the temperature of the (ammonia boiler)...

    Converting to residential fridge

Im running an EdgeStar (compressor base) cooler, on 3 house batteries (12v, deep cycle) and i get a good 8 hours of run time (give or take based on the outside temp). I can be away from the coach all day long and come back to 12vdc indicated on the meters, but then my cooler is duel voltage too.
