Black and gray water set up?

YUP you got it! No different that the macerator pumps.... I see the complaints on the Prevost forums and Renegade forums all the time...pump or toilet not working (and it never happens when its easiest)

Black and gray water set up?

man im sorry but those maceration toilets AND the (separate) external versions are just more trouble than theyre worth....they clog, they get hair wrapped around them....just more stuff to break and maintain. they always fail when you need 'em most!

Black and gray water set up?

what you need is some Y w/ blade valves....one to the sewer hook up (when thats available)....when sewer isnt available then you close one blade valve and open the other to the tank. but you need lots of water to move solid down a pipe - especially when theres a CURVE or Y to it....last thing...

    45' moving van conversion

wrap wont last either - at best youll have to rewrap every 5 yrs. You could paint it white and add some swoops and swirls (stickers)

    Frankenstein

I like the line-lock idea, and you can apply it to al the brakes too!

Black and gray water set up?

how long do you expect to stay in this thing? We have 220g of fresh water and our holding tanks are 60 or 65 each. Our fresh water tanks are under the bed - its very unlikely theyll ever freeze (as long as the coach is heated or kept warm/protected). I like the overhead fresh water idea -...

    Another great product

yeah 7kw for 2 air conditioners is definitely undersized. you need a minimum of 8kw to run the air's - sounds "custom" like someone added the 2nd air after the manufacture or the generator was replaced.

    Another great product

how many air conditioners do you have on your coach? what size is your generator? are you wired for 50a (shore power)?

    Savannah KOA

personally, I'm not a fan of KOAs....they seem to be family oriented (aka lots of kids running around), with lots of rules...that are inconsistently enforced.

do I understand that to be a generator that is chassis/engine powered? are those USD $ (if so thats quite expensive). The challenge I see is it (may?) require the engine running to operate/generate - my chassis engine alternator already charges my house batteries when im running down the road...

Altimeter, outside air temp gauge, compass

I have an indoor / outdoor temp gauge in the dash cluster - I had to replace it after we bought the coach (used)...when your moving the (outside) temp seems accurate - but if you sit in traffic it the temp will rise (the bulb is behind the bumper). The inside measurement / bulb is behind the...

    New Steer tires: Three questions

look at Pilot/Flying J (someone over on the FB group is the Big Cheese for all their service centers....nice guy). Flying J was as cheap as anyone on the price of tires and they can be services anywhere while traveling

    New Steer tires: Three questions

I run the TST 507 system - it revealed a cracked (slow leaking) stem...took me a while to find it - might have missed it w/out monitoring. IMO monitoring pressure is only part of the benefit - TEMPERATURE monitoring is important - and youll discover that pressure increases are not linear to...

    New Steer tires: Three questions

I had XZE2's on the front - iirc they were about 20 weeks from 5 yrs old - WHEN IT BLEW....and caused $11k in damage.....we store inside (enclosed/private garage, no climate control)....I keep a close eye on tire pressure, temp & sidewalls for fracturing....I had NO sign of any aging. im lucky...

Side Marker/Turn Signals - the lighting fetish continues

they are DOT LEGAL, Rigid Industries DRIVING (pattern) lights..."dulley" (6 LED) model - they come in 3 beam patterns... PENCIL, DRIVING & FOG....dont bother w/ the Pencil - I've seen arrows that weren't as straight or narrow. I also have a 2017 F350 (crew cab, long bed, 4WD) Platinum...
