Search this forum for 'COE' for lots of relevant discussion on this topic. As for who can do this type of conversion, contact Steve Mattie at Transport Designs. He has done many one-off custom rigs. While I don't know if he's done a COE conversion, he certainly has the skills and staff to do so.

A big part of the spike may be driven by the new emission standards. From the reading I've done, the new trucks are about $10k more than last years. This would certainly drive up the price on used trucks.

I agree with Matt295... valve stem extensions did the trick for me. I got mine from Wheel Masters

We have an '06 M2 Freightliner with the MBE926 engine and Allison automatic. There's some road and driveline noise in the coach but no vibration. We have the quiet-ride axle and air suspension.
