I wouldn't let the axle ratio keep me from getting it if all else passes scrutiny; any truck salvage yard would be able to set you up with the right gears, new or used for a reasonable fee. You might hook up with a dealer that can run your specs thru their drivetrain computer program and see...

I like, in a way, how the entire stock sleeper was used. Trucks w/ hi-rise sleepers are WAY easier to find than mid-roof sleepers or decent daycabs. Very nice!

Hey, look at it this way- he already has a fairly late-model truck (at least compared to the coach), so if the present coach (a VERY tired fifth-wheel) ever peters out, he only has to junk it and mount a later-model unit. The possibilities are endless....... But for now, it definitely has that...
