Now here is a real conversion

I was sent this photo's from I beleive the owner or from someone with from Scania. It is a 2005 Norwegian Scania P340 6x2 with Oakley conversioin for living and horse-transport. Now don't get me wrong I love my conversion, but it is a box on a semi. What these guys are doing is pure art! I...

Using hydraulic rams to level Motorhome w/ garage

Save yourself alot of work on the out rigger idea, use a set of Bigfoot levelers and just carry large pads for real soft ground. You will be rock solid stable. Check with Jason at Big Foot on placement. On both of mine conversions the front jacks where located just behind the fuel tanks up...

    Problems uploading pictures

There to big. If you can resize them down to maybe 900 x 900 pixels or less that would be good. You cannot resize, send them to me and i will do it, and upload them for you. Bill

    Peterbilt 387 Motorhome

Don't get me wrong the Meritor is a huge advancement over the manual tranny (although many still love to jam gears) But the 6 speed automatic is so much smoother. This is not a big deal for the driver, but put passenger in back and a jerking tranny will make even the best passenger motion sick...

    Peterbilt 387 Motorhome

To be honest, if I had to do it over again I would probably go with the Pete or Columbia but with a 6 speed Allison automatic versus the 12 speed Meritor. Unless they turn my motor up and then it maybe a different story. The only problem with the big trucks is that your over head bunk is...

air bag leveling side to side

As I mentioned in another forum, I also had a unlevel coach. I had a second valve installed about 3 weeks ago and the ride is 100% better. I know it was mentioned that this could upset the balance of the truck, but I don't think so. Actually it makes it much better. At speed (which is where...

    new stuff

ei8balla is gone. Vapoppa your wish is my command, new forum called "Aftermarket" is up. BTW: 2 thumbs up for Amsoil. Used it on my old Ford Power Stroke 7.3 and was absolutely amazed how much a oil change could quiet a motor down and how much easier it started in cold weather. Defiantly use...

    FLD120 Conversion Update: Exterior/Interior

Damn Travis that thing looks sweet. I love how the exterior lines all flow. You match the top condo with the main roof and matched the bottom bins with the tank steps. Just looks like it was meant to be. I see so many conversions that just do not look right (in my eye) when the truck is not...

05 Powerhouse Truck Conversion, 52', new, $350k, on ebay.

O.K. this is my opinion which some people think is against the law to give. I like the fact that Powerhouse is developing some really neat new innovations into their conversions. I think this rig looks awesome and I am sure anywhere you go you are going to be giving people whiplash. But 52'is...

I cannot see one thing that is salvageable. You basically need to replace the whole bus.

    bigfoot levelers?

I have had them on the last 3 rigs that I have owned and they have always done me right. Actually helped me get my last rig unstuck. I do have one jack on this rig that I am having a problem with, but Bigfoot is a good company and they are always quick to solve a problem.

    Built it VS Bought it?

Tallcrown - It had nothing to do with you. The user RV Truckin was the problem. Sorry you got caught up in it. Check out this thread, these guys are buiding a very cool rig on their own. http://truckhome.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6796050774/m/3161081003

    Cheerleaders caught in the act!

So speeder, if I was really concerned about Ron's posts, wouldn't I have deleted them? If I was so concerned about promoting Show Hauler why would I have included links to every manufacturer out there? If I was so concerned about promoting one manufacturer why would I post pictures of every...

Hey I have doled out criticism and I am willing to take it, but if your going to hammer the site, provide no real substance, and be incessantly negative in every post. Than it is time to go.
