J, check out Rockler, they are online shop supply company that has a nice Hardware kit for sale. Kit is offered in either direction for opening, I will be doing one in my conversion, planning on a lock of some type for travel mode.....

Hi, it's been awhile, spent some of the winter in Myrtle Beach at Willow Tree RV Resort. Just received a decline in my registration renewal here in NY, (WE MAILED IT IN),Apparently something with taxes and a form that I need send in with my taxes. The weight being 55,000lbs triggered this form...

The Fred is still NOT what we have, we need a class on our specific setup, while Fred is a front engine, it sits lower and back further....I am sending out emails trying to get something going.....G

About a year ago I found out about a 3 day coarse given at Freightliner in Gaffney SC, it is called CAMP FREIGHTLINER. I signed up for the coarse since I was going to be in the Gaffney area when the coarse was given. The coarse I was told deals with everything chassis related, packed with good...

No, unfortunately I only had a few minutes alone with the guy who Teaches Camp Freighliner in Gaffney. Hopefully they will be putting together a coarse that will be specific to Truck Conversions....G

I was in Gaffney at Freightliner talking to a couple of mechanics, interestingly, TC can lift wheels off the ground with no problem, traditional DP should not leave wheels up in the air, another reason to get a TC......

Thanks Dave, yea the Harley sounds great, we have a Triumph Bonneville T 100, it will sit on a carrier that slides into the trailer hitch. I found a special edition paint job that Triumph had, Chocolate and Cream, matches the Rig pretty well.....G

I just poked around online, definately some kind of AIRBAG, just not sure what kind....Thanks again.

Hi all, hope everyone has had a good summer and spent lots of time climbing around your Rigs.....we are getting ready to head for SC, Myrtle Beach. Last time I visited Freightliner I was told to watch the rear end, it was sweating a little, so on this road trip I want to stop in at Freightliner...

Who would want to stay at a place like that, NOT ME........

WP, please consider the booth / couch combo area. Check out my living room we have the same basic Booth layout, the couch is UNCOMFORTABLE for two people watching a movie. Some day soon I am ripping it out and going with two recliners....The booth is OK, the couch stinks......
