    High Price

For that price it should have auto pilot... Looks like a nice coach, but Sterling isn't exactly a high priced unit..

2005 Kingsley 45' and 3 more on ebay.

Automatic over manual any day. For ease of anyone can drive. I have driven trucks for years, but I enjoy not having to worry bout shifting on Vacation and my wife can drive this easily. I would say Auto is idiot proof. That's a lot of coin for that unit....

    Shower change

hello, We have a 2004 Trendsetter, 30'. My wife would like to increase the shower stall size, am I asking for trouble doing this? we have the room in the bathroom. Is this an easy change or one that the unit should go to a shop or back to the factory for. Any input/insight would be appreciated

How to rate quality of builders

A few months ago we were in the same boat and ended up going to some dealers a few hours away and seeing coaches. We ended up with our United Specialties. We found it had the nicest quality, GREAT storage and the amenities we wanted, we did buy ours off a dealer who had it already in stock...

    Meritor Freedom 12-Speed Transmission

We have the Meritor, find it very smooth, it skips up and usually starts us out in third and moves quickly. A little weird to get used to after shifting yourself for so long, it's nice to have no cluth for stopping and starting. The paddle shift is smooth as well, but we don't use it that...

    Truck Conversion Pros and Cons

Don't forget United Specialties. We looked at Kibbi and Haulmark. Kibbi on the 30' box used compartments for tanks and it left like 3 of 8 for stuff, could have been the one we saw, but it turned us off. The Haulmark quality and lay out seemed tired and the bunk room wasn't the same. we...

    What do you call it

Ok, Talked with two campgrounds and they asked me what kind of rig. I said a 40' truck conversion. What's that A. B, or C. Now we all know not a B. Is it a C on Steroids? an A so they understand size. I know it seems silly but some people just don't get it. What do you tell them when you...

    Satelite radio

In our Columbia is a the standard Freightliner radio/cd player. Supposed to be satelite ready. Noty sure if it's Sirius or XM. Also what do I need to do to make it work? I have XM in other vechiles through Pioneer modulators, but prefer to go through main radio and not have extra unit on...

    Height/length issues

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble getting in campgrounds or had height issues going in. We are 40' long and 13'4" High and are heading out next weekend. But have some reservations about getting in and out of campgrounds. It's a 30' box on a Columbia chassis. THANK YOU
