Well back to the inside we go for now.....bed platform is under construction....i so wish i had a shop to store stuff, moving things around the truck box to gain space is become a pain in the r**r.

Well got everything cut, trimmed and a door installed....man been a journey to this point but its a huge step forward!! (Sorry for the poor install pic, not much room between our trailer and the truck).

Well we picked up a nice used door but it was a couple inches longer than my rough in....so i had to take the door header back out to raise the sides. Then of course the door has rounded upper corners, not square which meant making gussets for the box frame corners. Once i got all that sorted I...

Well ceiling is in.....a touch more trimming to do later around the skylight and vent ports but it can wait as 104 degrees with 60% humidity limits my tolerance....lol. Next, plywood on the walls and we will be ready to start building for real.

Alright....ceiling is starting to go back in....we decided to use Trusscore as it supposed to be mold proof, mildew proof, fire rated and easy to install. So far it pretty good once you get the first one installed.....probably would have been easier to go width wise instead of length but the...

Well, finally got the ceiling completely spray foam insulated...had the guys comeback and finish the job as it was cheaper than doing it myself. Next thing on the list is to sheet the interior, than we will be back to making progress instead of recovering from were we where before the moisture...

Wired and spray foamed.....was hoping they would fill the ceiling completely.....guess thats what happens when your not home to supervise.

Slow going but everything frames out, ceiling wired and waiting on the spray foam guys to come do their magic today. If everything goes as planned the ceiling will go up in the next few weeks.

Inside of the box is starting to take shape....i have the window openings, garage openjng etc framed in.....roof is reframed....now spray foam and sheeting next.....finally getting back to where we started last spring when the wife discovered the wet interior.

Sadly we as well went down the reefer box road and found moisture in the interior boards....we stripped it as well and are currently rebuilding it.....would have been better off to start with a dry van box. My advise, for what its worth....if you want to go reefer box for the R value etc pull...

Seeing as how you have a box already the cheapest way around this is to build it yourself....you have a really good picture to work from. As for the storage boxes.....you could have a local welding shop bend up the sides and you could weld them up if you weld....if not they can make them for...

Well huge step forward....box got put on....finally.....i dont know who's happier, me or the wife because she gets here parking spots back....lol.

Of course one now must plug the holes left behind.....some aluminum olate, aluminum ribets and some SikaFlex 221....should be sealed...hope i never have to remove them....lol.

Well nothing crazy exciting but front of box getting cleaned off of parts so we can lift it onto the truck this week.....good thing no one was around to film this or we would have ended up in the " why women live longer than men" file.....lol.
