- Our family holidays have always been in a fiberglass trailer. In 1988, as newlyweds, Rob and bought a 15' Surfside that we towed with our '79 Vette. When the kids came along we bought a 1991 Caprice that we towed with until 2012. The Surfside was hit by a drunk driver in Spokane in '09 so we moved up to an Escape in '10. In '13 we got the Volvo XC 70. Great cars for great trailers!
