We made a fold down shelf to use as additional counter space or table when sitting on the couch.
Added a basket in the space above the stereo to hold dvd's, our iPod and wires for hookup.
Added hinges and a door knob on the panel under the refrigerator for easier access.

Mounted Command Hooks under the kitchen sink cabinet door to hang my cutting boards and storage basket for cleaning items. Also, I use a magazine rack
