We love Sweetwater Forest! They are about a mile in from the road, so it is very quite. The sites are wooded and nice distance between your neighbor. They do allow campfires which some other campgrounds farther out don't. Also some of the campgrounds closer to P-town will not take a camper our size(24 footers max). They are right off the Cape Cod Rail (bike trail) which is paved so it is easy riding. We have made it to the National Seashore and back in one day. They do have a small store and are very helpful in the office. They do have family events through the year. We bring our dogs with us (2 beagles) as they are very pet friendly. They also go with us to P-town, and can go in many of the store.
