Removed the trim piece at the bottom of the bathroom sink (behind the door), as I could never get my hand in to manipulate the low point drain valves.
New thermostat
Installing new thermostat.
New Thermostat. I had to use the batteries.. Tested hooking it up with just 12VDC, it didn't turn on. Using the batteries, it turns on and controls

Installed a diode to protect the wiring when powered from a vehicle. Switch shorts the load to ground when off.
