I removed the old TV and finished the inside of the old TV cabinet as a huge storage area. After installing a bunch of bat fiberglass insulation. We had noticed a lot of heat coming through the front cap. We are here in Florida... I then placed four cabinet door hinges on the left side of the existing TV surround door frame. Then flipped it over and placed more wood top and bottom of the frame to make it stronger. (glued and screwed) You will need to allow for access to the jacks on the back of the TV you use. Then due to the amount of weight now on the new cabinet frame door, I placed a large heavy duty double ended threaded bolt in the upper right corner. The wood threaded end went into the cabinet frame. The SAE threaded end comes through the new TV cabinet door frame with a large wing nut to keep it closed and supported due to the weight of the TV. I used wide aluminum flat bar material from Home Depot to make the TV mount attached to the inside of the cabinet door frame going from top to bottom. I have one to catch the left two TV mounting screws, and another on thr right side. Bottom line, bigger high def TV, and another huge storage cabinet! Great toys make your camping so much better!!!
