I was thinking of winter camping and cooking indoors and how I would need some sort of temp backsplash to be able to clean easily. Have you any ideas? Just want something temp so can take down quickly. I installed a spice rack in back of stove on wall and mitts etc on the right sidewall. Just curious if you had any ideas. Tx
Have seen other use the "sticker" tiles to do a blackspash. I tried it and thought it looked cheap. I am thinking of using some plexy-glass to cover the space around the range but it would be a more permanent installation.
For our last trailer I had built a "cover" for the stove burners in the shape of a tray (a bit bigger than the size of the cook-top and as deep as the top of the burner rings). Inside the tray was lined with aluminum sheeting and outside was laminate. We covered the burners with the tray for extra counter space when not using the cook-top, and tipped the tray against the wall when using the burners to provided a temporary backsplash.
