Cut the Carpet Guards to the length required for your slides, being sure to extend it back past the side slide seals and close up to the front face of the slide.
Clean the sides of the slide with alcohol to remove any grime that might affect the tape sticking well.
Use a section of the clear repair tape so that 50% of it is on the guard and 50% is on the side of the slide.
