So in this condition the center filament on your Coax Cable would not make contact with the union, Thus you TV would say NO CONNECTION. Any Camping World Specialist who would be trouble shooting your cable would see on his tester that the cable has an OPEN circuit and would start looking deeper into the issue... A 5 min job at most
