I cut a section of foam “Gutterstuff” to the width of the dinette seat. With the seat back in place, it doesn’t show and makes the angle more comforta
Seat back is at a more comfortable angle with “wedge” of foam at its base. And it doesn’t show.
Used 1x1’s stained to match for additional pantry shelf bracing.
Added a couple of cross braces for extra support.
Finally got rid of too-low towel ring and installed two new rods.
Stool folds flat and tucks next to toilet.
For less than $8 we found a folding stool to allow DW to reach bathroom vent fan switch.
