Moored on Lake Don Pedro, this was a 3 1/2 year project for our family on weekends and holidays, we made the pontoons from scratch. No outside help was used. I designed it and my family helped through the whole process. My son was 13 when we started.
It weighs 70,000 lbs. Powered by 2 Volvo Penta IO units. It has a 5500 watt inverter with 48 ea 80 watt solar panels and 24 L-16 batteries. Backup generator is a Westerbeke 10kw. Features are central air, hydraulic decks, boat ties and shore anchors, vaulted and coffered ceilings and more.
