Added the ShurFlo sound dampening kit to our water pump. Also added some heavy rubber material under the pump mount to isolate it from the coach and r
Replaced our analog Coleman with a digital. In the 28DSBH, it's a little dicey because the digital thermostat is slightly larger and protrudes further
Two "L" brackets hold the platform in place. Along with its non-skid feet, these ensure it isn't going anywhere.

So, you just fill the hole with the steel wool and the foam and that's it? Do we need access to this hole? Apologies for lamer questions.

Bono, yup, that's all I did. If you ever needed access in the future you can easily cut away the foam with an exacto knife and pull it/steel wool out...
