Chuck & Cindy, we stayed at Hy-Land Court RV park http://www.hylandcourt.com/
We only had 1 week and that was not near long enough. There are so many things to do and everything is in such close proximity. The "Green Bay" or west side is the busier side compared to the Lake Michigan side. Every community is rich in history. A day trip to Washington Island is certainly a highlight. http://www.doorcounty.com/experience/ this will give you a real good idea of the activities. Outdoor music programs were especially enjoyable to us. We were there for the cherry picking in August. We had cherry pie sometimes 3 times a day.....still love cherry pie hahahahahahaha
Food is wonderful every place you go. Fish boils are a huge draw and very entertaining. We were told the best fish boil to attend was in Ellison Bay but we ran out of time.
The kayaking was a lot of fun...........looking at sunken ships in the clear Lake Michigan waters.
Our return trip will be to the Hy-Land Court....definitely....for a month next time.
Plan your trip and trip out on your plan.
