Newbie here. Again a lot of questions. I have not taken the trailer out yet so things are still confusing to me but I know I want a portable roll tank for boondocking etc.. Are you using this hose setup you made on the blue portable roll tank thing to use at the dump station or are you connecting directly to the trailer grey water connection then to the blue portable roll tank thing for immediate drainage? Is that even possible to do? Which portable roll tank did you get and what size? I was looking a 16 gal blue one with front and back wheels to attach to the vehicle. What are your thoughts on that as it is kinda expensive?

I leave the gray tank open to drain. I have a cover for the sewage outlet that connects to a garden hose which I run away from the camper to discharge the gray water. The 174BH has such a small gray tank that I can fill it with one shower so draining onto the ground is a must. For the black tank (again a small 10 gallon tank) I found I only needed to dump about every 3 weeks. That said we do use the campground facilities as much as possible and put as little paper down the loo as possible. Our club has a community tank so we all share it and the size and cost was not a factor for me.
