Two "L" brackets hold the platform in place. Along with its non-skid feet, these ensure it isn't going anywhere.
The fridge sits securely on the stand, door clearance is perfect for opening and closing.

I noticed that your door handles are on the left side of the door. All the 28 DSBH's I've looked at have the handles on the right hand side of the door. Interesting.
