Wow! Your remodel looks fantastic! What did you cover the counter tops and table with? A stick on paper or something different? Also, how did you change the material of the "wall" that separates the bathroom and the kitchen? Did you keep the shade that was already there and just cover it with new material?

So sorry for the monumentally slow response. We painted the countertops with a product that we purchased from Lowe’s - Gianni countertop paint. It’s a 3 step painting process that takes a weekend to complete and then it has to cure for about 2 weeks. We did this two years ago and it still looks as great as when we painted it. It comes it several different color combinations to create a faux granite finish. We love it.
As far as the wall, I just covered the existing panels with new fabric - like a pillowcase that I just slipped over the existing panels. I did take off the original edging to use as a pattern to make new edging. I had a dilemma on how to hang them so I used traditional drape hooks that I hooked into he panels and then hung them from the original rod that slide in. It’s been a great solutions.
This was in pretty good shape, but the walls were squishy in many places, so we took it down to the studs to refurbish. The faded lavender/pink decor had to go.
