King's Peak, UT--13,528ft

One route to the top goes up the gully in the center.
Looks like a great destination...but that gully route looks like awful scree! Did you take that route, and is it as bad as it looks?
 
Mark, the gully often has snow from top to bottom but we didn't go that way on this trip. There is a much longer trail that goes left, over a pass out of this photo and then moves right to the top of the scree shute.
