It is Pomme De Terre's Damsite Campground (Corp Of Engineer)right beside Hermitage Missouri. There are 2 parts to the campground. One is on an arm that has water on both sides(campsite & pictures of #60), and #116 which has campsites on a bluff over-looking the water. Very beautiful but alittle treacherous to get down to the water to wet your fishing line. We camped there 4th of July weekend and got to watch a fireworks display right by the dam, then watched fireworks being shot off all around the lake from the campsite....pretty cool! Pomme De Terre is a small lake, but has good fishing & site #116 is a highly coveted spot. I have to watch when its available and was lucky when we got it for the 4th. Did you find Jakes signs???
Most sites are water/electric(like #116 & 60). Even though on C.O.E. campsite list inventory it lists all sites as pull thru. I have told both the Reserveusa people & campground hosts of this and no one seems to care. But the back in's are very nice and plenty of room to manever. Sites on the bluff are extra wide & long. I brought my pontoon boat also, which is not in the picture with another vehicle and there's still plenty of room on the site.
