2015-Kodiak Ultimate-263RLSL-26.5
Exterior: -Added bike rack.
-Added UHF extension to TV antenna.
-Added flagpole mount to spare tire bracket.
-Added solar panel to maintain batteries in storage.
-Added second battery.
Interior: -Replaced all lighting with LEDs.
-Lots of fixes of factory screwups and careless installations.
Renovations and Repairs: Most of these should have been taken care of at factory, or dealer, but...........
-Caulked around upper exterior window frames where factory missed, to keep water from leaking into exterior walls and onto floor.
-Caulked extra holes at awning mounting arms where factory tried numerous times to hit something solid with lag bolts, then left old holes unsealed.
-Repaired exterior LED light strip wiring where factory installer damaged them stuffing them in awning rail.
-Relocated overhead light to directly over dining table, since factory had it mounted for u-shaped dining instead of my configuration. It stuck out in walkway. Dumb.
-Replaced tacks holding underbed panels with screws (they didn't change method when they went from wood to aluminum framing, so tacks all fell out....duh).
-Caulked around dining table insert, since factory left quarter inch gap/channels all around top.
-Added support under shower floor to keep it from flexing, and repaired minor crack in floor (from factory).
-Refinished numerous shelves and panels where factory installer got carried away with staple gun.
-Went through almost two years of agony with local dealer trying to get furnace so it didn't leak water onto circuit board, and didn't cycle on the limit switch. Ultimately, Atwood replaced furnace.
-Sealed wire and plumbing and frame locations where mice could get in.
-Relocated TV storage strap bracket from being mounted only to thin trim strip (that pulled off) to something more solid.
-Replaced fitting for water tank fill hose that was loose and leaked from factory. Had to remove interior back panel in storage compartment and other grief.
-Replaced defective propane regulator and leaking pigtails, one of which had a stuck safety valve which limited gas flow.
-Replaced slider glide that ripped off because factory didn't countersink screws under it which caused it to buckle.
-Remounted various window trim that was improperly installed at factory, and redid most of the window shade guide lines so they are now properly lined up.
-Added protective window trim below back windows to prevent the back of the swivel rockers from hitting window mounting screws.
