So I am sitting in the living room of my front living room 5th Wheel when I heard a loud bang. a minute later it sounded like a waterfall. I run outside and see water pouring off the entire forward undercarriage. to my surprise the water filter exploded. immediately shut off the water, removed the broken filter and went to camping world (closest RV supplier to me) and picked up one that after changing the fittings from hose type to permanent type I installed her and she works great, leak free.
has anyone ever heard of the water filter housing exploding before, (not by freezing)?
