The Camper

Excellent camper for couples like us who don't want to add a lot of complication to camping. This has the comforts of a nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable murphy bed, clever sofa with retractable footrests, and a perfectly adequate bathroom. It's easy to pull and has no slides to deal with.

The only con we can come up with is that the bed side tables stick out so much that access to the closet requires a bit of stretching. I understand that the murphy bed probably requires this, so it's a necessary evil.

Exterior: We added a 3,500 watt generator to the rear bumper. It's a game-changer. We beefed up the bumper with safety struts, and used an aluminum platform built for generators. Fortunately this trailer is rather hitch-heavy and there's not any noticeable difference in towability from the weight in back.

Interior: We're a couple with no desire to have more people sleeping in our camper, so we took out the bunkhouse mattresses and replaced them with indoor/outdoor carpet. The bunkhouse now serves as storage for everything from lawn chairs and coolers to griddle, games, extra drinks, food, and kitchen supplies. Having done this, our little camper has more storage than the 32' with two slides that we used to have.
