Favorite Camping Destinations: Over the past 50 years we've traveled by backpack on the Long Trail in VT and hitchhiked to Acadia National Park, Maine. Traveled to Baxter State Park, Maine in a 6' x 8' clamshell camper towed by 1970 international Scout and taken same on 3 cross country trips from Atlantic to Pacific and to grad school in AZ and all aroud the Grand Canyon. Since then we've camped in LLBean tents with a growing family of children throughout the Northeast. Now we're glamping. :-) with a shower and toilet in 19' GulfStream and a Dometic fridge that needs replacement. Finally accomplished after 4 month delay in securing a warranty replacement!
